9 Frame structure analysis - The Notebook We chose to analyse 'The Notebook' trailer as it relates to our idea as it is a romance drama and the parents of one of the characters do not want the teenagers to be together.  The first frame shows the couple dancing in the middle of the road and looking affectionately into each other's eyes, showing a large amount of love and happiness which is the emotion that we want to portray when showing the relationship between our two characters. The second shot shows the way that teenagers do stuff together in the time era that this was set. It shows the two couples together, the boys riding the bike and the girls on the front laughing and having fun together. This gives the audience a sense of happiness and youth and shows that the two different kinds of class of people can be together.
